Following Lake George, I visited my cousin Bruce in Glens Falls. What a treat to get some time together after so many years. Managed to squeeze my trailer in next to his house and then explored some of the area, including the Falls that the city is named after, and the Hudson River near its headwater area. Another great camping location next to a river. :)

From James Fennimore Cooper's inspiration to a local resident marrying Hawaiian Royalty, the area is quite interesting. Missed the museum this trip, but will experience it in the spring or summer next year.

What a magnificent animal that is so well adapted to the varied extremes of its environment. This area has also managed to preserve its prairie dog populations, as well.
