What an amazing park dedicated to the veterans who have served their country, especially those from South Dakota. 








Interesting that there was a sailor from South Dakota who fought at the Battle of Ticonderoga in the War of 1812 and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery during the intense naval battle.


A very reverent setting, with walks that take you through the park honouring veterans.

What a magnificent animal that is so well adapted to the varied extremes of its environment. This area has also managed to preserve its prairie dog populations, as well.
