Tough day as I bid adieu to my good friend Lyle E. "Bud" Larson, but we will stay in touch.





 I visited the Bomber Command Museum in Nanton, AB to see the Lancaster bomber and other planes, similar to the ones that he flew during WWII as a pathfinder pilot and recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and bar. I've learned a lot from him and his stories.

What a magnificent animal that is so well adapted to the varied extremes of its environment. This area has also managed to preserve its prairie dog populations, as well.
