After visiting the Bomber Command Museum of Canada, I decided to cut across Alberta to see Les' home town of Vulcan Alberta. 





What a surprise to find a trekkies paradise. What a unique visitors centre and a great way to capitalize on the popularity of the Star Trek franchise, to promote your community. 




I never heard of their “Spock Days” and “Trek Convention” before. It must be quite an experience to be there when they are happening.

There was a nice plaque and tribute to the passing of Leonard Nimoy. Nice community in general and bigger than I had thought it was. Live Long and Prosper.
