I haven't had good service lately and I am way behind on my posts, sorry. There were many things to see in Virginia for sure. I continued on my civil war battlefield explorations and then spent time with my 3 cousins and there families for Thanksgiving (US). What a treat!! The battles of Manassas and Chancellorsville were some of the bloodiest of the war. It is said that soldiers fell at the rate of 1 per second for 5 hours. Puts it into perspective. This is the site where Stonewall Jackson was mortally wounded by friendly fire.
